Vigezzo Valley

The cycle path Druogno-Re in Vigezzo Valley, the Valley between Ossola Valley and Switzerland develops on a continuos and asphalted cycle path.

Start from Druogno station and cross the pinewood of Santa Maria Maggiore. Then proceed towards the ski center, cross the bridge on Loana creek and reach Malesco. After the village turn right to reach Re, where you could also visit the famous Sanctuary.

Vigezzo Valley is reachable with Lago Maggiore Express Tour. An unforgettable journey by historical train and ship, among amazing landscapes and sights. Druogno is the starting point of the Cycle Path and also a stop of the Centovalli train.

Curiosity: Vigezzo Valley is also known as “The Painters Valley”, because inspired many artists and landscape painters, whose paintings are now collected in the art’s school of Santa Maria Maggiore.
