Stresa - Mottarone - Stresa

A trail to discover Lake Maggiore’s mountains, in particular the Mount of 7 lakes… Mottarone!
Starting from the centre of Stresa you will reach Mottarone’s top by bike, from the peak of the mount you can admire 7 different lakes, the Italian and the Swiss Alps, Po Valley and Monte Rosa chain!
The descent from the peak to Stresa is real adrenaline, on off-road paths, among woods, breath-taking sights and typical villages.

Start from the centre of Stresa and proceed to Someraro and Levo, here starts the off-road path that, through woods and amazing landscapes, leads to the peak of Mottarone, the last meters develop on asphalted road (also open to vehicular traffic).

The descent from Mottarone to Stresa is real adrenaline! Go down direction Armeno and after few meters take the off-road path to Gignese, from Gignese proceed to Nocco (on asphalted road) and here take a second off-road path that will lead you to Graglia Piana.

From Graglia Piana proceed to Carpugnino and Vedesco, here take the off-road trail Via Miseria and reach Stresa’s cemetry, not far away from our hotel.
